Switch On Viewing

Case ID: rdv-001
For this test you will ideally need 2 machines

1. On test machine number 1 goto System->Preferences->Remote Desktop Preferences

2. On the General tab select both Allow other users to view your desktop and Allow other users to control your desktop

Using RDV

Case ID: rdv-002

1. On test machine number 2 now goto Applications->Internet->Remote Desktop Viewer

2. Double click on name of your first pc that should now appear under Hosts nearby

3. Wait a moment. On test machine 1 you should now see a popup box which asks if you wish to allow the connection click on Allow

4. The desktop of machine 1 should now appear in the window of machine 2
