Ubiquity Manual Install

Case ID: umi-001

1. Double click on the Install icon

2. Once Ubiquity starts click on Forward

3. Select your language from the list and click Forward

4. Select your timezone and click Forward

5. Check your keyboard layout is correct or alter click Forward

6. Select Specify partitions manually (advanced) and click on Forward

7. Select the drive you wish to partition and use the Create new or Edit partition to create your desired scheme

8. Once you have you partitioning scheme laid out and are happy click on Forward

9. Input your initial user details and password Note admin can not be used it is a dedicated Linux User

10. Now select Log in automatically and click on Forward

11. Check the details are correct on the final page and click Install

12. Once the installer has finished choose to Restart the system now

13. Remove the disc and press the enter
14. Allow the machine to reboot, login and check the system installed correctly.
